The reason i had to get a replacement is because the SD card slot failed. the spring stopped being able to retain the SD card. Besides that, everything kept working great. No other complaints. If Fitcamx decides to start doing internal memory storage and make SD cards not mandatory except to transfer videos to it if you wanted. it would be perfect because then there are less parts to fail because the videos are stored locally and no one can remove the SD card the wrong way and break it. I firmly believe that my SD card broke because my car mechanic messed with it, either removed it badly or reinserted it badly. Because i never remove the SD card myself. I havent removed it since 2022 when i first installed it.anyway, fitcamx was great in getting me a replacement where i only had to pay about 50 bucks for the replacement and i got an updated model. very very happy with that deal. thank you guys.
Had an issue with my camera which was about a year out of warranty. Customer service was outstanding and received quick responses. After troubleshooting a few things, receiving a new power cord from the company; I was sent a new camera and essentially only had to pay shipping. New camera works great so far.
I have it installed on a Mercedes Benz GLC300. It fits perfectly and you don't even know it's there. I had some issues with the unit but customer service was very responsive and resolved it quickly.
I was very satisfied with my first dashcam on my vehicle but it broke down due to an electronic radiator just above it. I contacted FITCAMX and had excellent contact with attentive people. I bought a cam again. Easy and quick installation. Discretion and efficiency. However, I remain convinced that additional ventilation would have been welcome.
I bought the camera while I was at USA and subsequently moved to my home country. I would say Fitcamx gave a wonderful post-sales support for International customers.
