1. Compatible with Toyota Sienna model year 2021-Now.
2. Please check whether your car has this 5pin connector before purchasing, otherwise it will not be compatible.
3. Using the harness, the FITCAMX camera will activate parking mode.
4. The parking mode does not record 24/7 continuously. It can only record 1 minute video when the car collides violently.
After a little research I bought this cable to connect my FITCAMX to my 2024 Tacoma TRD . The 5 pin pigtail was already in the headliner from the factory. Made for a very simple install. As an added bonus I didn’t have to unplug any part of the Toyota safety system. My camera was fused , and the parking protection feature was retained .the Sienna cable plugged into my camera and the pigtail for the Toyota dash am and I was “ all good”! Can’t get any simpler.
Recently installed in tundra. Install was fairly easy. Ordered rear camera also. Ordered a bracket specficaly designed for easy installation of rear camera. Order separate power cable from fitmax for toyota vehicle to get power from factory harness without unplugging anything. Cable also provides power for parking mode. Cant tell i have a camera as it is hidden behind rearview mirror. I would deffinetly recommend.
I am not sure why this is only promoted as a cable for a 2021 Sienna, as it is the perfect cable to power the FITCAMX in the 6th Gen 4Runner. Toyota includes a dashcam connector behind the center light console and you can connect to it directly without using the larger Y-cable or disrupting the connection to the safety system. It works great and provides support for Park mode, so you get twice the benefit! I recommend this cable instead of the Y-cable that only supports Drive mode.
If you have a OEM Toyota dash cam plug this is by far the best option. No messy wiring to the fuse panel. Takes less then 5 minutes to install. This should be standard with the Fitcamx in vehicles that have it.
