CC Texas Our installer opted to install the rear cam out onto the tailgate of our Tacoma because of the limited view if installed in the rear window. The regular cam isn't waterproof or weather proof so I reached out to customer service and they were amazing to offer and send a waterproof rear cam. I also purchased an extension cable to have extra length, since the connection was installed onto the tailgate handle area (close to the trucks reverse cam).

Jim Kildare I bought both front & rear cams for my Ioniq 5. After trying to run the wiring by the sunroof shade mechanism, the sunroof, and side curtain airbag it left me questioning the long term placement and reliability of both. I re-routed along the floor and came up about 6’ short so ordered a 6’6” extension cable. I was contacted within a couple of hours to confirm the correct cable for the mirror type. I received the cable and everything looks factory installed and works perfectly.
