I did watch a video or two, so when my dashcam arrived it only took a couple of minutes to install in our 2021 Telluride. Its been recoding for over a week now, connecting with my iPhone is simple and the interface to view the recorded clips works great.
I could not find many videos for running the wire for the rear facing camera for the Telluride, but this past Saturday morning I had some time. Simple enough with the head liner, tight to get the cable into the hard plastic of the pillars, but I also did not want to take the pillar covers off. Above the window way in the back was maybe the most difficult, hard to get the cable behind, but with the push tool and some patience I made steady progress. You will have more cable then needed; I pushed a good bit of the extra into the rear pillar color. This pillar does not have an airbag, so it seemed to be a good place to do it.
The camera connector to the cable is bigger than the cable, and with the sort length attached to the rear camera there are not too many options to hide it. I'd like to have two or three feet of length from the rear camera to the connector to have some more flexibility as to where th hide the connection. Still, not bad, see picture below.
Only two weeks in, but very pleased!
