After connecting the fuse box, there will be a parking mode function. The parking mode means that the dash camera will start to records while a collision happens. Not continuous video recording.

1. For Toyota and Lexus only.
2. The red wire is connected to the ACC (the fuse that has electricity when the car is started, but has no electricity after locking the car); the yellow wire is connected to the fuse that keeps the car powered on when the car is started and locked. The black wire is connected to GND.
3. It is recommended to find a professional engineer for installation.
4. After installation, the cover of the original car fuse box will be removed.
Since I am using this product on my 2026 Tundra, the review will be focused on this specific vehicle.
This wiring harness is to provide power to the FitCAMX so that Park Mode is enabled.
The quality of the wiring harness appears to be very good, a nice thick jacket is welcomed. While I do not particularly care for the ultra thin pins in the connector, they do work. I would not repeat the connection process too many times, and take your time mating it to the camera.
In the Tundra, the cabin fuse box is on the passenger side, buried into a small space, upside down, and has a tight cover, which means you need to put this cover somewhere safe so you know the location of the fuses in the future. There is no room for the fuse taps, unless the cover is left off, and then your passenger could kick the fuse box. Yes, it is in a terrible location. This is unfortunate but a little ingenuity and these small problems can be overcome.
With that said, I do not recommend this wiring harness for a late model Tundra if you will be using it as it was designed, using the fuse box with these fuse taps.
If you want to do this the correct way, at least in my opinion, you will want to do a little modification to the wiring harness.
There is plenty of excess wire for the harness and you can trim off the fuse adapters and depending on the path you go, the ground lug as well.
Two options:
1. Connect the wiring harness to the factory Dash Cam power connector which is directly above the sun glasses holder.
2. Attach lugs that will work with your cabin fuse box.
I used the first option. You can find YouTube videos on how to locate and access this power connector. I will admit, I thought I would break the plastic when pulling it downward, it takes a lot of force before the two snaps release. Then on the left side, there is a 5 pin connector, with only 3 wires. You have ground, Acc, and Constant. At this point I would recommend purchasing a female 5 pin connector (Toyota/Lexus), preferably pre-wired unless you have the special pin crimp tool.
The entire wiring harness will easily fit above the headliner, there are gaps which work very well. Do not cut the cable down to the exact size unless you are pretty certain about it. I left it long for now. The next time I open this area of the truck, I will make a short version just to clean it up.
I provided photos of the Dash Cap power connector. I forgot to take photos of the end product, what an idiot I was. Sorry about that.
Summary: Good Wiring harness quality. Not designed for the late model Tundra.
Recommendation: The manufacturer provide a wiring harness to the factory Dash Cam power connector.
Perfekt, Nice tool
Amazing cam, easy install, superb support.
However, i had a little misunderstanding while installing the Parking cable.
Support was telling me to unplug the Y cable to allow the Parking cable to be connected.
I was asking myself where will i plug the rear cam.
I suggest to support to tell future customers to use the the word "dispose" or "replace" the Y cable.
Otherwise, suport is excellent!
Excellent build and video quality, great customer service. One telescopic rod was broken, and they sent me two. Best customer service I have had in a log time from any company. Highly recommend FITCAMX!
Used the cable in my 2023 Corolla Touring Sports, to power the Fitcamx dashcam.
Cable has the right length (about 40cm too long) and is of good quality. Connectors are also fine.
Parking mode works as advertised; after two weeks no sign of excessive battery draining.
